MiB Youth Ad Designers visit Wolff Olins to Discuss Ideas Around Police-Community Relations

Made in Brownsville, in  partnership with the Brownsville Community Justice Center, has been working with seven young people age 14-22 in a six week Advertising/Marketing Design Studio Program. These young designers are tasked with rebranding an existing city-wide ad campaign around crime watch for a client, with the intent to impact Police-community relations locally in Brownsville.

This week, we visited creative agency, Wolff Olins to have our cohort discuss and develop their ideas with design mentors. Collaboratively, the group developed some interesting ideas around story telling and building a social media awareness campaign around an existing and enduring Brownsville mantra “never ran, never will.” The group will discuss their ideas to the client during their next studio session later this week.
